Matt Shepard

Matt is the founder of our group and has been a REALTOR® since 1983, with numerous distinctions and honors including Life Member - NVAR Top Producer since 1992 and $10 Million Dollar Club for the last several years. Matt is the Marketing Manager for Batal Homes, where he supervises the marketing program and Sales Managers for new homes subdivisions in Virginia. He’s one of the Top Agents in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Matt got to the top of his profession through his willingness to truly listen to his clients which explains his uncanny gift for matching people to properties they will love. Matt is also an expert at creating curb appeal, followed up with strong indoor presentation. For Matt, a house isn’t listed, it’s flaunted. It’s not surprising that former clients almost always return to him when they’re ready to trade up.

Debra Broughton

Debra came to the Group in 2003. Her experience working

for a top Real Estate team in the area, as both an agent

and contracts manager, has proven to be a valuable asset

in her role as office manager for the Group.  As a licensed

REALTOR for many years, Debra knows the ins and outs of

contracts and has developed enduring relationships with

many of our colleagues in the field.  For 15 years prior to

entering real estate, Debra was a program developer

for a nationally renowned private, non-profit organization

in Washington, DC.  She is a member of the National

Association of Realtors and the Virginia Association of

Realtors, and holds a Masters of Public Administration

from the University of Kansas.

Rob Johnston

Rob joined us from Long and Foster in early 2007.  He is a member of the NVAR Multi Million Dollar Sales Club.  Rob has vast knowledge of the DC metro area, having lived and

worked here for the past 22 years.   He came to us with a background in construction management, as well as spending several years as a senior sales/design expert for a leading company in our area.  This experience has given Rob an edge in understanding his client's wants and needs. After having great success in his first few years as a Realtor, Rob saw the benefits of working in a team environment.  We are most fortunate that after several interviews he decided to join us

at Keller Williams-City to Sea Realty.
